In times of the plastic glut, the packaging of every product should be carefully considered. With some salads, for example, it is unnecessary to pack the product first in a plastic basket and then in a plastic bag. The same applies to small tomatoes.
Or packs of 3 toothpaste, where a paper sleeve instead of plastic could hold the tubes together. The same applies to other promotional cosmetic products.

Thank you for your thoughts on our product packaging. Migros is very interested in making not only its products but also the packaging as customer and environmentally friendly as possible. I will therefore be happy to pass on your ideas to those responsible. They will consider what is possible and where adjustments can be made in the near future.

@survey: I don't quite understand your argument about the plastic basket for salads - it stays in the store and is reused.
The plastic packaging for washed or ready-made salads cannot be replaced by anything other than perhaps a thinner plastic material. In any case, paper is out of the question - diced beetroot, for example, cannot be wrapped in paper.
Or are you thinking of banning all these semi-finished products? - I don't see any alternatives from you...

have you ever thought that lamb's lettuce, for example, is packaged in TRAY AND PLASTIC?????....... So first inform yourself properly about the product packaging instead of coming up with such "stupid" arguments.
AND toothpaste is ONLY PACKAGED IN BANDS in multipacks and not manufactured!!!!

You have a very pronounced Pavlovian reflex! But I'm certainly not angry with you for being so highly sensitive to plastic, because I don't know the reasons for your aversion. Perhaps, like me, you have to pick up discarded plastic waste from your front garden every morning and then I feel very comfortable with you. But at least the plastic is clean to the touch, which is not the case with paper tissues.
Incidentally, I checked today: the lamb's lettuce that I buy at Migros is still only packaged in plastic and not in a plastic bowl. Perhaps you should be a little more flexible when shopping and not necessarily insist on organic, because this is exactly what is in the expensive plastic bowl.
I am grateful to Migros because they also take hygiene into account when packaging!

I was of the same opinion as "survey" and didn't want to attack anyone who expressed their opinion here. There's room for that here. Sorry.
Reduce a bit of plastic, or don't sell the salad in a vacuum, because it quickly becomes "soggy" (= wet, mushy) if the salad is still damp and pots of water collect on the plastic.....
A little thought for the environment is probably not a bad thing, because it is already suffering anyway.
The plastic ends up in the waste, fills it up unnecessarily and burning even more waste isn't really necessary, is it?

The result of today's packaging inspection: spinach salad in a plastic bowl & plastic bag, baby leaf only in a plastic bag, which makes me particularly happy. Because the baby leaf, which still had to be washed, was previously also packed first in a bowl and then in an additional plastic bag. It's mainly salads that need to be washed again that are "double" packed. I'll keep up with the packaging research...
