A few years ago, you could still buy very good doughnuts at Migros. We all loved them. There were 5 of them in a kind of Cellofan bag. They smelled deep-fried and were coated in granulated sugar. Filled with redcurrant jam. Very tasty!
Then at some point came the new, current doughnuts, coated in powdered sugar. I have to finally get rid of the fact that I can no longer buy doughnuts in Migros since they have been around. I don't like the taste of them at all. The dough feels slimy in my mouth, the taste is bland and even leaves a bitter aftertaste in my mouth. No thanks.
I hope Migros produces its doughnuts again like it did back then. That would be great.
