I already miss the selection of vegan convenience products. There are comparatively many more abroad. One suggestion; the absolutely delicious and also visually very appealing products from the Canadian www.verygoodbutchers.com
As a food enthusiast, I'm glad that MIGROS is a store for so many shoppers. Food extremists should stock up in specialty stores instead of messing around with existing products. That's the only way not to drive up our prices. MIGROS, please keep it up!

Hello Trida, thank you for your contribution. We are also constantly expanding our vegan range. We have therefore reviewed your suggestion with interest. The specialist department has informed me that we currently have no plans to include the Very Good Butcher brand in our range. We are planning to introduce more vegan cold cuts, barbecue items and meat substitutes this spring. However, we are focusing primarily on local producers and our own industry. This is because of the short transport routes and the freshness of the products. Best regards, Chloe

Thank you for your prompt feedback. I think the expansion of the range in this direction is generally very good - especially the aspect of paying attention to regionality in terms of emissions etc. is great. However, Migros does not implement regionality well and consistently - it's not as if I don't look at the meat counter from time to time for the sake of interest, I recently saw beef from Argentina and the USA. But it's great that this aspect counts and is given weight. The industry is certainly still "in its infancy", so to speak, when it comes to developing vegan products and there is bound to be a lot more movement in the future. What I find so great about very good butchers is that they say "good is the biggest enemy of great". And that's exactly what makes the difference.

I think these are really great arguments and I absolutely agree with you. I would also like to see the same effort that is put into non-vegan food being invested in plant-based alternatives.
