Snickers ice cream x6 in a carton = 5.95 Snickers ice cream x6 sold individually = 15.60 How can it be that the individual ice cream in Migros is so overpriced? It's 3m away and costs 2.6 times as much. If it's because the ice cream needs extra space or the expense is greater, then this argument would be ridiculous. Given the tiny size of the individual sales area, which looks like they've just thrown in random ice creams, imagine if the six-pack of Coca-Cola, for example, was 2.6 times cheaper than the individual bottles... I expect the individual ice creams in Migros to be cheaper than in the kiosk! 20-30% markup, e.g. the Snickers ice cream for 1.25 instead of 1.- in the carton. I think everyone would understand that. Edit: After I was corrected in the comments, I did the price calculation again. Taking into account that the quantity is different, the Snickers ice cream in the store, for example, should cost around 1.70 instead of the current 2.60.

The open ones are not the same size. The open ones are 72g and the ones in the 6 are 50g, but I agree with you. The price for the individual ones is massively overpriced.

Thanks for the precise answer, of course you're absolutely right and I overlooked it. It's also kind of exciting that the boxes have smaller portions. I wouldn't have paid attention to that as a buyer of the "large" variant in retail sales and expected the same content. Nevertheless, size or not, as you also agree, they are simply too expensive.

Which other product in Migros has a similarly high mark-up if I buy it individually, like ice cream? Coca-Cola? Or yogurt? Maybe iced tea? No, nowhere is there a significantly higher price, although the individual drinks are much more expensive to put away, especially in the fridge. Most drinks are 0.01-0.02/100ml more expensive when sold individually. This is also completely fair. e.g.: 1+1 fruit nectar 6x50cl = 0.27/100ml 1+1 fruit nectar 50cl = 0.29/100ml And it's not about the Snickers ice cream specifically: Trolli water ice in a carton = 1.38/100ml Trolli water ice individually = 2.39/100ml Cowboy in carton = 1.03/100ml Cowboy single = 1.98/100ml The ice creams in the supermarket should simply be clearly cheaper than at the kiosk, for example, due to the simpler logistics and the resulting efficiency. How about an opinion on this?
