Why does Migros sell dry food with grain? Bad for the cat! It is a carnivore and not a grain eater!!!!

Cheap filler material and perhaps fodder "experts" from the last millennium who say "AND THE KATE'S EATS ALSO HAVE MICE IN THE MAJOR", with a raised know-it-all finger😂
Thank you, it seems like that to me as well. It's the best thing for my cats. Have a nice day
Possibly also because there are unfortunately people who want to feed dogs and cats a vegetarian/vegan diet. It's really sad, but it does happen.... :(

People who feed cats and dogs a strictly vegan diet should get other pets or no pets at all. Forcing your own ideology on an animal is cruelty to animals.

Exactly, I agree. Kind of ironic.
Hello Starlines, thank you for your comment. We can assure you that all our products comply with the prescribed nutritional guidelines and that the recipes of our products represent a balanced and complete diet for cats. Grain, with the carbohydrates it contains, is a valuable source of energy for the animals. Cereal-based cat food ensures a balanced diet. Cereals contain many valuable nutrients, e.g. essential amino acids, unsaturated fatty acids and fiber. If cereals are also cooked in a nutrient-preserving way, they form a particularly easily digestible component of cat food. If you prefer to feed your cat grain-free, you will now find two different Vital Balance dry foods in our range, one with salmon and the other with chicken. Kind regards, Chloe

Thank you for your reply. I will take your advice to heart and have a look at the product and possibly buy it if there are no cereals available. Kind regards Starlines
I'm really looking forward to hearing from Migros about what the cat nutrition experts think, whether they're really not keeping up with the times. Barfeeding would of course be ideal, but it's an extremely complex and difficult subject with everything to do justice to, so a good ready-made food would be desirable. There was. Was taken out.
