I don't understand one thing about the current Total detergent promotion: why does the detergent offered in the promotion only wash up to 60° and what does the label "swiss alpine" on the box mean? I still have a box of the same detergent from the last promotion, but it is labeled up to 95°. Is something else (cheaper) being produced for the promotion?

Thank you for your message. I will ask the product managers what exactly is going on with the detergent promotions. However, I suspect that they are two different products from the same brand and that first one and now the other is on promotion.
But to be on the safe side, I'll be happy to ask for you and get back to you as soon as I know more.

Sorry, the clarification took a moment longer. But I can now answer your questions as follows:
The Total Suisse AlpineXXL box is a limited edition. The powder formula is the same as the Total Color powder, hence the maximum washing degree of 60° - the difference lies in the fragrance used. Total Suisse Alpine is therefore the Color detergent. "Suisse Alpine" is the name for the fragrance of this limited edition.
If you prefer a heavy-duty detergent and want to wash at 95°, there is the second Limited Edition, Total Pure White. The powder formula is the same as the Total powder, but here too the difference lies in the fragrance used.
With the lower temperature - i.e. 60° - you achieve the same washing performance as with the powder for 95°.
