Why is thon for cats called that, or why does it only show a cat? Is there any reason why thon is not suitable for dogs? My dog loves it anyway, and I don't know why I shouldn't give her thon (which probably contains offal). Heavy metals perhaps?

I don't think you want to feed your cat heavy metals either. Dogs and cats carry different genes and require different food in terms of the composition of minerals and nutrients. Certainly nothing will happen if a dog nibbles on cat food, but it must not become a habit. In addition, as far as I know, cat food is richer in fat and a dog can quickly become overweight. Well, it's not a balanced complete cat food, but thon, logically as a supplementary food. I have also given my dog normal thon (in water), but this one is of course cheaper. That's why I don't understand why it's only advertised for cats. It's not as if dogs shouldn't eat thon as a matter of principle.

Hi Shaha0, you can also feed the article to your dog. We do not make pet food for both species. However, this doesn't mean that you can't feed it "partially" to both. Kind regards, Susi
