Delete automatic receipt printing

Hello, this topic was already launched a few years ago, but seeing no progress on the part of Migros, I'm re-launching it to get customers' opinions. In an ecological (and undoubtedly economic for the store) approach, I find it abnormal that even today the till receipt and cumulus points are automatically printed, and that no pre-print option is offered to avoid printing the items.

I'd like to emphasize two points: - fewer and fewer customers keep their receipts (most of the time, it's the elderly), and there are garbage cans next to the tills where the receipts can be thrown away (these are quickly filled, by the way). If we refuse the receipt, the cashiers throw it in the garbage can next to them. If I'm not mistaken, this paper can't be recycled because of its material and ink, and throwing it away just shows how wasteful it is - more and more customers have the app or at least a Migros account where the receipt can be found. Why not offer a "do not print receipt" option on our account? Many of our geographical neighbors offer the option of printing or not printing the receipt after payment (France, Germany...); if they can do this, we are more than capable of stopping this automatic printing and adding a "do you want the receipt?" option for those still attached to the paper format.

In the interests of ecological impact and to modernize the group, I think it's really time for Migros to think about giving customers the choice of whether or not to print their ticket and cumulus points. We're all trying to do something for the planet, and it's a shame to end our commissions with this inability to act. I hope I'm not the only one who wants to modernize and computerize our favorite chain.
