I actually really like using Subito self-scanning. But what annoys me every time I go shopping is the design of the debit card scanner at the payment terminals.

• The viewing angle: I am 1.75 m tall, which is exactly the Swiss average, but I always have to bend down slightly to see the entire display. This makes it even more uncomfortable for taller people.
• Privacy protection: Before entering the code, you are informed that you should cover the keypad when entering the code. Unfortunately, this is not possible due to the limited space available.

I realize that the terminals have to be designed for tall and short people and that the devices have to be stowed somehow in the tower. So my suggestion for the next generation of terminals is to increase the angle of the housing around the debit card scanner at the top, left and right.
