We love shopping via self-scanning with the Subito scanner. We think it's a great option, and so does our daughter (1 year old). She always wants to use the scanner because it beeps so nicely. Unfortunately, this makes shopping a bit awkward. In addition, we are always afraid that the scanner will break, as she has already dropped it.
Our idea: A dummy scanner for children that makes a light and beeps, but doesn't scan and can't break :-)
