You, who are reading this, are to blame for the fact that our tomatoes taste like nothing. But maybe they do taste like watered cardboard or paper. You, yes you want that, says Migros (and Coop). Customers want tomatoes to taste the same and like nothing all year round. That's what Migros says. Have you ever been asked how you - YES YOU !!! - want the tomatoes? Can you remember? I've never been asked and luckily I'll soon have my own tasty tomatoes to eat again. I didn't, I wanted to!!!
I recently saw that Migros is now gluten-free - you read that right: Gluten-free ! - and vegan - you read that right too: Vegan ! - tea. When I make tea, it's vegan. I don't need any animal products to make tea. Unless I make prawn tea (laugh). Then it's not vegan, for example. Dear Migros: why do you advertise new products so "Bireweich"? Is there gluten-containing and non-vegan tea????

I'm happy to pass on your opinion on tomatoes to the Fruits & Vegetables section.
Regarding gluten-free and vegan tea, the easiest way is to place a few links to articles on the subject. They explain quite well why tea may not be vegan or gluten-free.

Tea: Tea is also gluten-free in its original form (e.g. dried peppermint leaves). But - and this is a rule that celiacs should remember: The more processed a product, the more likely it is to contain gluten. This means that tea blends, instant teas and similar products may well contain gluten. It is therefore essential to read the list of ingredients.

And that is why we "advertise" the items accordingly. Allergy sufferers and vegans really appreciate this kind of labeling because it means they don't have to look at the whole list of ingredients in detail first.

I am well aware that tea with cream, for example, is no longer vegan or gluten-free. But Migros should then point out that tea is unsuitable for vegans and allergy sufferers if it contains the relevant (health-risk) substances. But the product advertised as new (Captain Kombucha) is one that is only advertised as vegan and gluten-free for advertising reasons.
Otherwise Migros could also advertise its mineral waters as gluten-free and vegan. It's just that naturally gluten-free and vegan products don't have to be advertised as such. But this doesn't just apply to Migros - everyone seems to smell big business with allergy sufferers and people with (apparent) intolerances.
