It would also be helpful if the product finder homepage stated whether the grams are the filling quantity or the drained weight.
It says both on the packaging.
With a filling quantity of 200-300 g, the deviation may be 9 g absolute.
For a filling quantity of 301-500 g, the deviation may be 3%.
The € symbol is normally used.

If the effective weight varies, but it is always stated as 220g on the label, it would seem logical to me that it should also always be stated as 220g on the homepage?

I don't believe that new labels are often made for this. Labels are printed in runs of hundreds of thousands.

Product finders are often not very reliable. You have to type in every item exactly, which doesn't always work smoothly. Sometimes there are also old product images on the websites, as was the case with Migros organic cranberries.

Nothing at all. Istanbul means the small "e" after the weight, which indicates the net quantity. The EEC mark, the pre-packaging directive. At 220g per jar of chickpeas, the filling quantity may vary by a maximum of 9 grams. If it contains 211g, this is just as okay as if it contains 229g.
If there is too little, it will usually be exchanged at the customer service desk or the money will be refunded. The final inspection is not perfect either, so an item that should have been sorted out can slip through. However, it's a good idea to weigh this up in each case, as it helps you to track down the fraudsters who calculate with the tolerances and underfill as standard. This applies not only to food but to all types of goods. The good manufacturers apologize and send a replacement. However, there are also some who are particularly generous in such cases.

The product finder is often helpful for me. As the product ranges vary from store to store. So I can check in advance whether I need to go to this or that Migros or to Coop.

I apologize for only getting back to you now. We had to check the different information regarding drained weight with Alnatura, which unfortunately took a long time.
The new drained weight is 220g. We still have the old drained weight of 215g in our master data and will now make the correction immediately. I will also make sure that the information is entered on products.migros.ch.
