While shopping at dm Drogerie Markt in Germany, I came up with an idea that could easily be used in all Migros stores.
Shortly after the checkout there is a list of price mark-ups and mark-downs. As a customer, I think such transparency towards the customer is great.
Anyone who is interested can look at the list and see next to the product why the price has been marked up or down.
Isn't that a simple solution to offer the customer even more transparency? To set yourself apart from Coop and also show an honest approach to mark-ups?
It's not for nothing that dm is currently a huge success in Germany
