In May 2015, HP 364 XL printer cartridges cost 79.90 (+/- 5 centimes) each at Migros and Dipl. Ing. Fust, in April 2016 84.90 and in December 2016 already 89.90... Is this pricing and agreement with competitors related to the current weakness of the Swiss franc? Do I have to go all the way to the Migros company Digitec to pay just CHF 64?

Or you can buy the good cartridges from the Swiss company Peach, which cost much less.

I have clarified your request with our product manager.
In general, we always react to the influence of the market when raising or lowering prices. As soon as the manufacturer (e.g. HP) increases prices due to currency fluctuations or other economic influences, we also have to recalculate our prices.
In this specific case: I assume that you are talking about the HP Combopack 364XL product, for which HP has repeatedly introduced different versions with different prices onto the market in recent years. It is therefore difficult to determine the price development across the entire market.
The HP Combopack 364XL N9J74AE, which we currently offer, has been priced atCHF 86.80 since its launch.

Thank you for the explanation. On the face of it, it sounds logical and corresponds to the behavior of retailers to justify price mark-ups that cannot be explained otherwise. However, I would appreciate it if the intermediary trade would also explain the customer's needs to the supplier. You need nothing more than 364XL printer cartridges in different colors. Period. A new packaging design is superfluous for an article that cannot be changed for technical reasons. 1 - 2 years ago, you had to include a pack of photo paper in an impossibly large US format in the 364XL combo pack. It didn't even fit into normal (DIN) albums or envelopes, so you had to throw it away. By the way, back then it was cheaper with photo paper than today without photo paper!!! A totally unecological waste of resources. Generation M could do something about that.
