Hello everyone!

When paying at the payment station/self-checkout after shopping with the scanner, soooo many receipts are always printed, which for me amounts to almost 1m of paper for a larger purchase - which I then immediately dispose of in the small waste slot... Since I have everything digitally on my cell phone, I don't need these printouts, so there's no need for paper.

Couldn't the option "Print receipts yes/no" be added to the screen at the payment stations?

It would be a win-win situation for customers and Migros - and would also benefit the environment...:-)

Digital receipts are already sufficient as proof of purchase in many stores, including with regard to VAT, warranty/guarantee etc., even for very high-priced items. I don't think these little pieces of paper are legally required.

In any case, I find it ridiculous and annoying that practical bags have been abolished for alleged environmental reasons, but impractical thermal paper slips are still being printed for every customer.

I fully agree with eventus. I don't need the labels. Digitec, which is mainly owned by Migros, has always worked without them. You have the receipts online in your account and can download and print them out (if really necessary). But you don't even need it for the guarantee, they just ask for your account in the store and look it up straight away.
It would work in the same way with the Cumulus card at Migros. This would not only be more convenient for customers (no paper that could get lost), but also more secure for Migros. The receipts are not really forgery-proof ...

As far as I'm concerned, the selection could also be offered in a first step with every payment, as is the case with many ATMs, for example - but then please with a 'no receipt' button at the bottom right (currently you have to press it 4-5 times after scanning anyway to skip all the reminder pages and select credit card as the payment method).
