I am amazed: "digitec" has replaced "melectronics" in Ladendorf Langendorf. An excellent store for appliances and digital goods has disappeared and - what a shame - with it a highly motivated and knowledgeable sales staff. The new store has the feel of a sterile operating theatre with all kinds of communication equipment and a few TV sets. The only problem is that I've been able to buy my cell phones downstairs in the store for a long time, but I wish I could go back to the store that reorders the water filter for my coffee machine and gives me expert advice on how to upgrade my music system with a Bluetooth device, etc. etc. I regret this ill-advised restructuring and consider it a loss for the store village. "Migros belongs to the people", says the advertising. Now these same people have lost a manageable Migros store. At least they can still buy "bear paws" from Midor next door as a consolation, as the gentleman in the advertisement demonstrates...
