Deleted comments still appear on the start page and under your own profile. It would be nice if the DELETE function worked even better, i.e. according to its name, and deleted comments were NOWHERE visible.

Hello Maripac,
Migipedia (Daniel) was informed about the stumbling blocks on the "new platform" on September 14 with an extensive email. Some errors on the start page have already been corrected, but the deletion has not yet been completed. I sent a text similar to the one you wrote 10 days ago.
http://www.migipedia.ch/de/forum/jetzt-auf-migipedia
As you can see, the problem is well known, especially since I mentioned it back in mid-September.
Explanation and solution to the problem:
"When a new thread is created, it is copied to the home page, which is linked to the product. However, the thread for the product is not linked to the start page. Then, when a thread is deleted, it remains as a corpse on the start page.
If the copy on the start page was linked to the product and the anchor point of the thread and the thread on the product was linked to the start page and the anchor point of the copy, the copy could also be deleted."
For me, as already written, the start page is just a "journal" or a "log". It can also be seen as a "diary". It should present itself as the first page, like a daily newspaper, but unfortunately it misses the mark.
The simplest solution is to delete "Now on Migipedia" and forget about it. The same could be done with the "Ideas" page on "Improve Migros", as this is superfluous since the list of questions in the forum is already covered. Furthermore, the Migipedia team would be relieved, as guests would then be forced to register.
"Ideas" are only a two-track system. Every other query has already been dealt with in the forum, such as Vivi Kola, Mountain Dew, Animella chocolate, chai tea, YES cupcakes, Gloria shampoo, plastic bags gone, shelf price labeling, silken tofu, etc.
The "notifications", "watched comments" are also useless. Creation date and new entries used to be displayed, but no longer. You have to edit every comment to check it.
This is too stupid for me, so I delete my watched comments immediately instead of following them for a week.
Best regards
Istanbul

Hello Maripac and Istanbul
As important Migipedia members and keen observers, you point out things to us that we of course take seriously! Your objections and suggestions have been added to the list of Migipedia features for which we need to go over the books again. Unfortunately, this won't happen in a flash.
But as Tanja has already suggested, we would like to continue to collect user experiences, whether in the form of meetings with you or in other suitable ways. It is often the case that the requirements of different users are very different and it is not easy to reconcile them. That's why it means a lot to us that as many of you as possible tell us what you think about Migipedia.
Best regards,
Sabine, Migipedia team

Hello Sabine, hello Istanbul,
@Istanbul: thank you very much for your comments (+ solution!) on the problem concerning the "delete function" - and please excuse me for bringing up this matter again, although you had already communicated it. I myself also contacted Daniel once about this in September and, when the problem arose again (and of course in relation to my own comment, which I "still" perceived with annoyance), I did not realize that you had already intervened far more constructively here. The other 'weaknesses' mentioned by you in the above message seem at least as relevant to me. DA the start page acts as a kind of 'business card' and not only determines the first impressions, but in my opinion also the motivation for a longer (+ active) stay on the platform. "Two-track nature" very aptly sums up the impression that, not least, various redundancies impair orientation and overview on the site and - as I myself have noticed - lead to multiple thematizations of largely the same issues [be it in the ideas, in the forum or even by email to the Migipedia team :(]. Certainly NOT, this now also
@Sabine, are/were the comments meant in the sense of impatient "ruckzuck". Because as already mentioned elsewhere, unlike Istanbul, I unfortunately lack any knowledge to not only make suggestions/objections, BUT - and THAT seems to be the decisive factor with regard to any optimization - also to offer possible solutions. What you formulate well Sabine, the aspect of diverging demands, will always remain, but I 'think' that on Migipedia there is also a lot of commitment to meet this multi-layered mix of wishes, demands, complaints, suggestions, etc.
Best wishes to Sabine AND Istanbul,
"maripac"
