But Migros said that the ones from the Dreikönigskuchen have palm oil in the hail sugar. Only not in the dough. It was mentioned somewhere in the forum. Hmm🤔
That's right, that was still the case last year. This year was the first time that the Epiphany cakes (hail sugar) were without palm oil.

I didn't buy any anyway but it would be great to get one next year, Dreikönigskuchen is my favorite bread (yes I bake it myself but buying it ready-made would be great, with a crown😁)
That was Migros' response at the time because of the palm oil on the sugar-coated biscuits: "The sugar-coated biscuits are coated with oil to prevent them from melting in the packaging. It therefore has a technological function, because untreated granulated sugar would dissolve"
