ALL potatoes are sold washed. This is unnecessary and very offensive in view of the climate problems. Washing potatoes is really no trouble at all. There are vegetable brushes for that. The sale of unwashed potatoes could also be promoted effectively, namely that Migros pays attention to environmental compatibility and will offer unwashed potatoes in future.
Ohhhh how wrong you are with "washing potatoes is no trouble" - there are even calls for frozen chopped onions😂 Where you can really make and freeze them yourself, if you don't have the 2 minutes to chop fresh ones while cooking😂 People are lazy and sluggish, I like to be comfortable too, but believe me: washing potatoes is too tiring for some people, that's why there are ready-made peeled potatoes vacuum-packed in plastic😂
And our whole environment is going to the dogs because of these lazy slackers?

Unfortunately, I can't drive, have MS and haven't the slightest idea how I would get a 5 kg carrier bag home. In my youth (I'm 73) we only had unwashed potatoes. Amazingly, we all survived!

@Riahe and @Bodenseeknusperli 1. washing potatoes is always necessary, if not by the producer or subsequent seller, then the customer has to do it, which means "dirty water" either way! 2. I am grateful for already chopped/cut potatoes and would like the range to be extended, because I also have the dung and am in a wheelchair, buying things like this has nothing to do with "laziness" for me, but it is a relief for people when you no longer have enough strength in your hands and arms and there are more of them in this country than you all think!!!
