Bravo!!! You buy a loaf of bread - a Pane Passione Classico - fresh and handmade, take it home and get something that tastes awful but not necessarily like bread. You are amazed and read the list of ingredients. I was actually expecting it to say: flour, water, salt and yeast. And what do I find as another ingredient: acerola fruit powder. Bravo!!! That's exactly what I expect in a bread! A fruit with one of the highest vitamin C contents and, according to Wikipedia, with indications of cross-allergies!
After half a day, I also notice that the bag of bread is soaked in fat. Where does this fat come from?
I am hugely disappointed with this bread and will certainly never buy it again. I normally bake my own bread in different varieties and know what bread tastes like. But definitely not like this fishy handmade one. With this bread, Migros - which was once known for very good bread - earns a very poor grade!
