Hello Astrid-C, thank you for your feedback. Basically, you can go to the meat counter with a Tupperware container, for example, so you can avoid additional packaging. Regarding the example of the meat birds I mentioned, I can tell you that they are wrapped in transparent cellophane so that the thinly sliced and therefore delicate beef does not discolour.
