I was in the Melectronics online store late on Wednesday 14.3. because I wanted to take advantage of the -12% discount promotion. I then decided on an item at a price of CHF 478 (Canon lens, art. 951100021038) and added it to my shopping cart. The item was displayed in the shopping cart on the right-hand side of the screen with the reduced price. I then rummaged around a bit, as I was also interested in other items. After a while, I went to the checkout and then came the nasty surprise. When paying, I was refused the discounted price, probably due to the fact that it was a few minutes after midnight. Since the discounted price was displayed in the shopping cart the whole time, I was very disappointed. It's a bit like going to the checkout with an item in a store and being refused the advertised price. Presumably there is no other technical solution, which is why I can even understand it. The next day, I wrote to the customer service department, described the situation and hoped for a concession, especially as the login logs and my user name would allow me to check that my details were correct. Unfortunately, the customer's problem was not understood at all (price change of goods in the shopping cart at the checkout) or taken seriously and argued very technocratically with reference to the GTC. Since Migros is actually known for its customer-friendly approach, I would have expected more here - this is not an M better. Migros wouldn't be able to show any goodwill in this case. I wonder if anyone else in this forum will take pity on me?
