Dear Mrs. Migros Today, my trusty sidekick Schlingel69 and I paid another visit to our new regular Migros at Claramarkt. Suddenly we felt the urgent need for a delicious, fruity chilled buttermilk. We quickly rushed to the chiller cabinet and, with a heavy heart, realized that there was no buttermilk to be found there. We wandered through the corridors and racks of chiller cabinet after chiller cabinet. Our beloved buttermilk was nowhere to be found. Once we arrived home, we immediately fired up our research machines and realized that the entire city of Basel cannot enjoy delicious buttermilk from the region. Is buttermilk a purely eastern Swiss phenomenon or why is there no buttermilk on the shelves in north-western Switzerland?
Is it possible to import it from eastern Switzerland? The simplest option would be to transport it by ship via the Rhine. For Schlingel69 and me, one freighter a month would be about enough. Greetings from Schogidrinkler & Schlingel69, looking forward to buttermilk.
