Families should certainly be allowed to benefit from concessions, because - as I know from my own experience - a family is expensive. What annoys me, however, is the fact that single people are very badly served. Most packs are far too big for this group of people. What am I supposed to do with two Olma sausages when I've already had enough of half a sausage? Or what do I do with 4 chicken thighs when one or two would be quite enough for me? There are countless examples like this. Not to mention the cheap promotional bulk packs, which are out of the question for us.
Why doesn't Migros offer small packs? The individual sausage, the individual chicken thigh could then be a little more expensive, because then I wouldn't have to dispose of half of the precious food, which pains my soul every time.

I can only agree with this article. It's the same with the M-Budget items. For example, I have to buy 4 packs of bacon cubes instead of two with the more expensive ones. In addition, the individual packs at M-Budget are larger, so I save nothing and am forced to eat more bacon cubes.

Thank you very much for your messages. Migros naturally tries to make the best possible offer to all our customers. In the M-Budget range, for example, many packs were reduced in size during the last range revision. However, smaller packs make a product more expensive, which is not in line with the M-Budget idea.
Offering half Olma sausages will probably be difficult ;) But we will definitely take your request for smaller packs on board!

If I have to throw away half a bratwurst, that's still less bad than if it's one and a half. :-)
M-Budget hardly concerns me, but even if small, single-size packs were to be slightly more expensive, the price difference would hopefully not exceed the cost of the discarded food, e.g. the second Olmabratwurst.

Open sale of the most important charcuterie products would also be a good idea: e.g. sliced meat loaf. Used to be available, but was abolished during the last renovation.

Open sales of meat products in smaller stores - as used to be the case - would be a dream. I'm bored of pre-packed goods in packages that are too big or too small.

I don't have any problems with large packaging. You can also freeze things, process them into something else, pack them in the lunchbox for the next day, etc.

I am not fundamentally against famigros.
But I have to say that I'm still a bit disappointed. Not everyone is allowed to have a family, for whatever reason, and the fact that as a single person or childless couple you are often seen as a cash cow has often bothered me. But I think it's a shame that Migros is now getting on this bandwagon.
Of course a family costs money, BUT there are also people who are alone or have no children who have to watch their money.
If there is already such a "club", then please offer them items that a family needs, such as bulk packs etc. and not 10x Cumulus.
