The only thing I find a bit of a shame is that there is no alcohol for sale. If you do fancy a sip of wine, you have to go to another store after shopping.

I sometimes think that too. It doesn't have to be tons of bottles and strong alcohol. But especially with a good meal, a good wine is just the icing on the cake... I've got used to going somewhere else, but it would be easier otherwise

Hi, I can only agree with that. If I want to have a good wine with dinner, I have to go to a different store. As I said, it doesn't have to be a lot or high-proof. A small selection between a red and a white wine would be great. Sebi

Hello Sebi56, you can buy alcohol anywhere, we should actually be happy that a shopping chain is concerned about our health. An AA might even be happy not to be confronted with alcohol.
I also like the fact that Migros is alcohol- and tobacco-free 👍

Hello, I still think it's remarkable and good that Migros doesn't sell alcohol. And the argument that a good meal goes with a good wine: but I wouldn't buy good wine in the supermarket anyway, I'd rather buy it in a wine shop, wouldn't I? ;)

I would be delighted if Migros were to expand its range of non-alcoholic beers. My favorite beer is Jever Fun non-alcoholic, but unfortunately I can't find it anywhere in Switzerland. Wouldn't that be a gap in the market? I'm sure that many customers would like Jever Fun.

I also think it's a shame that there's no alcohol. I would like to buy Rotweit or Rose.

Hello rregina, thank you very much for your contribution. With the takeover of "Alkoholfreie Weine AG Meilen", Migros founder Gottlieb Duttweiler made an important contribution to his self-proclaimed cause of "public health". Migros launched a large-scale "sweet cider campaign". Duttweiler hoped that this would contribute to solving the alcohol issue and the utilization of cider fruit. Migros remains true to this principle of "no alcohol" in Migros stores. For a fine red wine or rosé, I would like to refer you to our subsidiary Denner. Kind regards, Tabea

I think it's really good that there's no alcohol. The Migros concept and principles convince me. If you want to enjoy a special sip with your meal, I agree with charlie488 that you should buy your wine elsewhere anyway.
