Why do you rate our products?

Wieso bewertet ihr unsere Produkte?

I admit it, the title of this post could be misunderstood at best. But it's curiosity that drives me to ask you this question. So, why do you rate our products? The Migros community, i.e. you, are extremely diligent. In 2021, you wrote 178,662 reviews. For the most part, you are satisfied or even very satisfied with our products. You gave our products 5 stars in 67.3% of all reviews and 4 stars in 16.4%. Thank you very much for the top ratings for Migros supermarket and specialist store products. But you didn't just find words of praise, as the 1-star ratings follow in third place. In 6.4% of all reviews, you only gave our products one star. We would also like to thank you for these honest reviews. Because our product managers can learn a lot from them.Your ratings are our motivationEvery day, the community team emails the product ratings, questions and answers from the past 24 hours to around 260 Migros product managers, their industrial operations, employees in the sensory teams and marketing managers. The product images and ratings are displayed in the email - a bit like Instagram. Those responsible can quickly get an overview of the community activities of the last day. If a product appears several times with poor ratings, this is a reason for the product managers to take action themselves. Such feedback can be used, for example, to improve recipes or review production. Important to know: A recipe change or a change of supplier does not happen overnight. For example, packaging has to be adapted or products have to pass a storage test. That's why I'm calling on you: Have a little patience if not all products with a bad rating can be improved overnight. And now back to my question from the beginning: What motivates you, drives you to rate our products? Kind regards Philipp
