The old packaging was a very popular version, as it could always be resealed and stored in the fridge. I have to assume that the idea and implementation of the new aluminium lid was the work of someone who doesn't spend much time in the kitchen. Hello Migrannosaurus, thank you for your contribution. We made a change as the current market is moving towards packaging reduction and reusable lids. The aluminum lid is recyclable. The old lid, on the other hand, had to be disposed of in the household waste. We have been offering a silicone lid for some time now, which can be used flexibly.
