The information on the packaging of both products is correct. The difference in the calorie values is due to the type of declaration:
- In the case of mashed potatoes with vegetables, the nutritional values refer to the unprepared product. This is why the packaging explicitly states "nutritional values per 100 g".
- In the case of mashed potatoes with meatballs, the nutritional values refer to the prepared product, which is marked on the packaging with "Nutritional values prepared per 100 g".
The packaging of the potato stock with meatballs was revised in 2023. We have adapted the nutritional information to the prepared form. This change is intended to make the information even clearer and more helpful for our customers. In future, we will also implement this adjustment for other packaging revisions.
