Migipedia: That was 2022

Migipedia: Das war 2022

As the year draws to a close, people like to look back on the past. I would also like to talk about a few Migipedia things from 2022. But before I do, I would like to say a big thank you to all of you, the Migros community, for your commitment, your ratings, your questions, your answers, your suggestions and your discussions with each other. It is a great pleasure to see that the Migros community continues to grow, is colorful and lively. You for usSo far this year, you have rated almost 200,000 Migros products. That's another 10% more than last year. You have rated 84% of all products with 4 or 5 stars. However, almost 6% only received one star. Thank you for your honest feedback. I don't think I've ever told you this before. But did you know that we send your product reviews to around 400 product managers and Migros industry employees every day? They all incorporate your reviews into the planning and optimization of Migros products. I will provide you with proof of this in January/February 😉We for youIn 2022, we also introduced a number of major and minor improvements to migipedia.ch. Most recently, we worked on the design of the recommendation mechanics for product reviews and on uploading images in questions about our products. One development that I would like to go into in more detail is the machine translation of reviews, questions and answers about products and recipes. Since mid-June, just over 130,000 translations have been made. Currently, a good 1000 pieces of content generated by you are machine-translated for other community members every day. That's amazing. We didn't expect that 👏 Incidentally, 60% of the content is translated from German into French. In 20% of cases, it's the other way around - French to German. Incidentally, in over 130,000 translations, not once has anyone complained to me that the machine translation is rubbish. We will continue to work on Migipedia in the new year and invite you to test our products, rate them, ask questions and help other community members with their questions. There's not much left for me to do but say thank you again and wish you a happy holiday season and a good start to the new year. Best regards Philipp
