There are more and more individual households. Nevertheless, most of Migros' promotional products consist of multiple packs. Like many people, I have a monthly budget, so it's no use buying 4x100 m of line (!) at a cheaper price to have enough line for a long time, I have to spend more at the moment. We are pensioners with a limited monthly budget. What do other consumers think?
That always annoys me too. I don't want to have to buy 3 bottles of the same shampoo or shower gel every time there's a promotion. You could also save a lot of plastic if you could just buy 3 individual products instead of holding 3 products together with plastic wrap. You also always have to take 2 packs of detergent, for example, when there's a promotion. It's often simply too heavy for me as I'm out and about on foot.
That's exactly what annoys me too. Extreme - as long as you're a "normal earner" you don't have to think about it for long: I need washing-up liquid, there's a 2-pack for less money than 2x1 pack. Nonbrainer. Since I became an IV pensioner, I no longer find the subject so funny. And hello, dear MIGROS: in the next few years, there will be more and more pensioners with (little) pension...
Even if Migros is sometimes idealized - not least under the influence of its own PR - it ultimately remains what it is, namely a supermarket chain. Of course, one could argue about the extent to which it can or should be the task of a supermarket chain to provide financial support to pensioners on a tight budget. Personally, I tend to take a sober view and simply classify the special offers in multi-packs under the heading of volume discounts - something that has existed for centuries and always will.

That's probably how it will be. I suspect that Migros sells a lot more than single packs under the MFP. Ultimately, Migros lives from sales and is exposed to competition. I think in many ways people demand something from Migros that other retailers hardly have: I also live alone. There are also Mbudget articles that have a low price if the Mfp are too big for you... I also believe soberly that Migros will sell a lot more in terms of quantity with a cell phone 3-pack promotion, for example, than if a cell phone is already on promotion from 1 piece. Why should it forgo the promotion or sales?
You're right, I'm in the same situation and have been a "Migros" since childhood! My friend has been complaining about this for a long time and goes to Lidel and Aldi!
