I am planning to switch from Swisscom to M Budget and have some unanswered questions that you may be able to clarify. These would be: Can I also watch MB TV on my tablet, including recordings? Are there plans to support UHD TV in the future? Can I connect two conventional landline telephones with cable? Is it possible to have the fiber optic connection installed free of charge when it comes to the apartment?
Thank you for your patience, we are always working on our products and services. Unfortunately, we don't currently have a TV app for Android and iOS that would allow you to watch recordings on the go. However, this is a topic that is always being looked at. Support for UHD TV is not yet planned. But this will also be an issue for us sooner or later. Two conventional landline telephones with cable can always be connected. An analog or IP telephone device is required for the M-Budget landline service. The telephone must be connected to the M-Budget Internet Box via an RJ11 cable (RJ45 for IP telephone devices). The wireless connection between a landline telephone and the M-Budget Internet Box (DECT) is not yet possible. If the fibre optic line is available at the customer's address (check availability via the ordering process; as soon as fibre optic is available), the connection can be installed. If a copper socket is available in the home, this is not a problem. In most cases, Swisscom/partner electricians will install the fibre optic socket in the home free of charge (except for homeowners). I hope this information helps. Best regards, Sarah
