In this post, I’d like to discuss two new features we’ve implemented over the past few days based on your feedback. Let’s start with the block feature.
Hide posts from other users
There have been several discussions in the forum about whether it should be possible to hide or block individual users. Your reasons for requesting this feature varied. Starting now, you can click the three lines next to a reply to block a user. As a result, all posts by that person will be hidden from you in all discussions. You’ll also no longer receive email notifications when the blocked user posts new replies.
But keep in mind: If you hide one or more users, there’s always a chance you’ll miss out on interesting or relevant content.
10,000 posts archived
Over the past 16 years, you’ve started over 15,500 discussions on the Migipedia forum. There’s hardly a topic related to Migros that doesn’t have a discussion here. At the same time, it’s understandable that not all posts are still relevant today.
For this reason, we’ve archived around 10,000 posts. We followed a simple rule: All discussions that haven’t seen any activity in the last three years have been archived.
Archived means that these posts can still be read, but no new comments can be added. Should a topic become relevant again, you are of course free to start a new discussion on it.
With these two changes, we aim to bring more clarity and organization to the forum while also helping to foster a more positive atmosphere where needed.
Best regards
Philipp
