Sugar everywhere

Zucker überall

Dear Migros, Over the past few months, we have become increasingly aware that there is far too much sugar in many foods. We have taken this as an opportunity to replace a few of our foods with sugar-free products. When it comes to ketchup, we use the sugar- and salt-free version and when it comes to yogurts, we buy low-sugar Skyr yogurts. Unfortunately, you don't have sugar-free ketchup or low-sugar Skyr yogurts. We always have to go to the Coop because they only have half as much sugar. Do you have any plans to offer more foods with no or less sugar?

If you want to focus on a low-sugar diet or low-sugar products, you are currently best served at Coop. I don't think this seems to be such a big priority at Migros; low-sugar/reduced-sugar products have been demanded here in the forum for a long time, but unfortunately nothing has changed so far... As far as I can see as a consumer, Migros is currently chasing the plant-based (vegan/vegatarian) and high protein trend; and is trying to increase the proportion of branded products (LC1, Lindt, Toblerone, Bounty, etc.).

Hello rL_2, thank you very much for your message. We are planning a lot in this area. We are currently reviewing our products and reducing sugar wherever possible. A sugar-free ketchup is already planned. However, I can't give you a launch date yet. In addition, our new organic line without added sugar will be launched next week with three yogurts. Best regards, Noemi

Not true, dear Migros. You put sugar in products and take away great sugar-free products (e.g. Alnatura coconut ring is gone, but Migros' own sugary coconut drink is!!!). And there are so many other products!!!). And why do these yogurts have to be organic? They are too expensive for the normal consumer and the low-income earner, the unemployed, etc.?
