Dear Migros
My mother found a toothpick (broken in two) in a chicken sandwich she bought today. Luckily she noticed it before swallowing, otherwise it would have been unpleasant. The toothpick was inside the chicken and visually invisible.
It was a chicken crispy sandwich, bought in a Migros in Bern.
Something probably went wrong during production. Nevertheless, this should not happen.

Thank you for your feedback. Unfortunately, she hasn't kept the pack in the meantime - but the best-before date was June 11. She bought it at Migros on Bubenbergplatz.

I have forwarded your feedback to our product managers and the supplier. They are very sorry for the incident and apologize. Although the incoming goods inspection department and the line staff are sensitized to look out for visible foreign bodies, it cannot be completely ruled out that, despite all our efforts, a product that does not meet all requirements may escape our inspection.
