Yoghurts: not sweet for a change.

Yoghurts: mal nicht süss.

How about a yogurt with bacon flavor, for example? Why do all yogurts (even cherry, which is supposed to be sour) always have to be sweet? We sometimes eat yogurt for dinner and it would be nice to have something completely different...

Hello Stefan (if I'm not mistaken, right?) ;)

In Switzerland, yogurts are consumed in a very traditional way, so our product managers don't see any potential for a salty yogurt at the moment.

Nevertheless, we are happy to take up the idea and will review it again at a later date - thank you for your input!

Kind regards

I'd be up for it - it doesn't have to be bacon for me, but why not pumpkin/ carrot/ beetroot/ garlic/ celery/ cumin.... And so on;)

Exactly! I can't imagine bacon right now, but in my opinion the special acidity of the yoghurt goes much better with more tart flavors than with fruit. I suggest new flavors. maybe slightly salted. I often prepare saffron yogurts myself or with beetroot, with an excellent balsamic vinegar it's heavenly! Tomato is very tasty with the yoghurt acidity. The bitterness of chicory in yoghurt is also exciting. You should definitely try spinach too. Basil etc ! I think the potential of yoghurt is completely wasted in the over-sugared fruit flavors. Great idea. To get away from sugar a bit too.
