Why should it take weeks or months? Actually, you should always add products if they are not yet available here, because otherwise you can't rate them. In time, every product that you can buy in Migros should be available here, shouldn't it?

the problem with implementing products has existed since Migipedia was created. Myself and other users have already commented on this several times or made suggestions.
"We are looking for solutions" was Migipedia's response, which is an approach, but only an approach that seems to be stuck.
After all, it's not easy to manage 30,000 articles on databases. Maintaining that means keeping the data, i.e. product information such as ingredient lists, food facts and images, up to date in three languages! Could you do that? ;-)
I don't know how, and I don't care how it's done. I suspect that with the content management system, the new products are handled by one department and the other products by the relevant divisions.
I also think it's a shame if comments and descriptions are lost when an item, rather than the product, is removed from the range. For example, the 840 g tin of minestrone disappeared and the 430 g tin remained, but all the comments that could have been attached to the small tin with a note also disappeared with the large tin.
No, I haven't been listening to SRF 1 radio recently.
In January 2011, I was on the "Morgenmensch" program on DRS 1 for a week ;o))

Yes, it's really a pity that this doesn't work better, of course there is a lot to do if you have to look after everything, but if you already offer and set up a site like Migipedia, then you have to know roughly what to expect.
For example, you could make a form where you can enter the products that are missing. If you buy the product and have it in front of you, you can enter everything that is important. Or you could also look on LeShop, everything is there and you could also take the picture from there. That would also be an idea.
You would have to make the suggestion now at "Migipedia - co-develop". Could do this sometime.

What comes to my mind spontaneously is a cookie that has been around for more than 20 years and I would like to write something about it.
