How does PickMup work with external online stores?

Wie funktioniert PickMup mit externen Online-Shops?

I recently ordered something from Do it + Garden Migros Online and had it delivered to a PickMup station. As I used this option for the first time and it worked great straight away, I also requested delivery to a PickMup station for my next Zalando order - and it didn't work at all. The address was entered correctly by the system as MIGROS, but the Migros suffix was missing from the address label and the address looked like a private address. Unfortunately, the PickMup website doesn't provide enough information on how to proceed correctly with external online stores if you want to have your order delivered to PickMup. I have not found an information brochure anywhere. According to Swiss Post, the MyPost24 user ID is not valid here. Why don't you have to register anywhere for PickMup so that you have a user number that you can add to your address? Why is there no app for PickMup of all things, with which you could manage and receive consignments (collection code)? And once again, the specific question for Migros: what is the correct procedure if you want to have orders from external online stores that offer delivery to PickMup points delivered to them? How does the PickMup point know who to send the pick-up e-mail with the QR code to for external online store orders? Thanks for the clarification!

Zalando is not part of pickmup.

Zalando is not part of pickmup.

...still offers to deliver parcels to such stations because they are apparently part of the PickPost/MyPost24 service.

Hello Nachtspalter, thank you for your suggestions regarding PickMup. We are sorry that the delivery did not work properly. If the online store has integrated the "PickPost" service, you can select the desired PickMup location as the delivery address directly in the check-out process. You can find the PickMup locations here: https://bit.ly/3y5pi7n If you cannot select "PickPost" as the delivery address in the online store, you must first register in the Swiss Post Customer Center, create a personal user ID and enter the address of the PickMup location of your choice as the delivery address: https://account.post.ch/idp/?login&lang=de. Further information on registration can be found here: https://www.post.ch/de/empfangen/empfangsorte/pickpost-my-post-24/pickpost?shortcut=redirect-pickpost-de Further information on PickMup's additional services can be found at the following link: https://www.migros.ch/de/content/service-pickmup I hope this helps you. Best regards, Melanie

Hello Melanie Thank you for your comments. That helps a little. I also found out today from Swiss Post that you can specify the PickMup locations as a PickPost address, but you then have to collect the parcels from the customer service desk. That's a shame, as I assumed that "Service Point Post" meant that the PickMup machines would act as additional MyPost24 machines, so to speak, and that the parcels would be placed in a compartment. Unfortunately, this is not the case.
