What the Bleep Do We Know!? oder What the #$*! Do We (K)now!?)

What the Bleep Do We Know!? oder What the #$*! Do We (K)now!?)

I saw the movie, which replaced the indecent word "f**k" in the original title with punctuation marks ("#$*!) or the English "bleep (beep)", in Germany under the title"Ich weiß, dass ich nichts weiß!" .

Question: "When do you adapt the annoying obscenity filter to the events, or even better, switch it off?

As far as I can remember, and my headache is in good shape, offensive words, or then with initial and/or final letters and asterisks, have rarely been used since Migipedia's inception. In that case, it is not in the interest of the users to write and publish rants.

I find it excessive that words written together are torn apart and fragments of them are marked with a "**bleep**".

A "K O L A N U S S" is a nut and not an "A N U S".

  • Here in the "moz" article, Louis de Funes alias Charles Duchemin "Brust oder K E U L E" was given a PIEPS.
  • "maripac" is struggling with the viscosity !
  • My humble self with an abbreviation forCumulus+
  • There were also grumbles about the Greekyogurt
  • The word "T R O U" was objected to in marcel50's question
  • Kathrin also made the acquaintance of the "sorter" for one of Santa's accessories .
So, Sergio, Daniel & Co, please banish this filter to nirvana, or do you want us to write according to the FCC rules (Federal Communications Commission), which check(s) for the"Seven Dirty Words" or"four-letter words"!

Best regards

Hello Istanbul

Thank you for your message. I have also noticed that the spam filter is not ideally set. I have already passed this on to the technical department once and they have made some adjustments as a result.

However, I am very happy to see your summary of various examples where problems have arisen and will pass this on again straight away. This is the best way for the technology to recognize where problems arise and what pattern they might follow.

Thank you!

Best regards

Tanja

Hello Tanja

This is not a spam filter but an obscenity word filter, which is available in eight different strengths or degrees, as you should or want to call it, e.g. "Adult/Ma t ur e Content", "Hate", "P o r n o g r a p h y", "Racism" and "Violence". Filter methods are fixed word lists, heuristic methods and "other mechanisms".
I see this as a very heterogeneous blocking and filtering practice, because this is not applied to other Migros media! ?

Since mid-August, I have rewritten about twenty **bleep** with other words or replaced them with capital letters with a space between the letters! ?

Words in bold have been **bleep**ed!

Greetings and have a nice evening (after correction already day)

The Big-B a n g-Therory, i.e. the Big Bang also got a **bleep**!

Dear Istanbul

As so often, you enlighten my miserable existence :-)

Had been wondering why I can't spell the word "breast". I had never thought about the impropriety of that movie title and think it's a visionary piece of celluloid.

Hello Istanbul

Thank you very much for listing the words that get stuck in the spam filter and are "bleeped". I will pass this on immediately so that we can correct the filter accordingly.

"Wag the Dog" is a movie really worth seeing

What does Lithium or Migros have against the French word "M I N O U" and overwriting it with "**bleep**"? In German it means "Mieze", "Miezekatze" or "Mouchi". I also had a cat called that and never associated her name with the woman's sex. Which doesn't happen with French M.... either!?
