I suspect that Migros produces and sells what is demanded; if there were a demand, Migros would certainly have it on offer.
Aren't they looking for cost-effective solutions? People who use a lot of salt and then switch to Himalya Kristill salt will need less! Why should all the (almost) elements that are in the human body be satisfied here? Is it not possible to get used to less salt and sugar and get the taste in a different way?

"Migros is aware of its responsibility with regard to food recipes and is constantly working on recipe improvements. Migros has also made a promise to produce over 150 products with less sugar, salt and fat but more dietary fiber by the end of 2018. We are constantly working on further recipe improvements as part of the implementation of our Migros nutritional guidelines. Migros is thus making a contribution to a balanced diet. Information on this can be found athttps://generation-m.migros.ch/de/versprechen/rezeptur.htmlzu. The Migros nutritional guidelines are already taken into account during the development of new products. The simplification of food recipes and the use of fewer additives are also an issue for Migros. Ultimately, however, it is also important for customers to make a conscious choice. The transparent and comprehensive nutrition declaration helps with this.
Regarding salt content in bread:Migros is committed to gradually reducing the salt content. Migros bread has already contained less salt since 2015, namely an average of around 1.5 grams per 100 grams of bread. Since the development of the Migros nutritional guidelines in 2013, there have also been binding salt limits in ready-made products such as pizza, pasta, salads and soups.
Regarding the low-salt bread: "Low-salt bread is a special product that is used in dietetics, for example in hospitals, and does not meet the general taste expectations of bread."
