Hello everyone, according to the media, many own brands are being replaced by branded products, I wonder what the point of this is, has Migros already made a statement?
Because they said they want to become cheaper, or bring their own brand back to 80% over time.
But it looks like it won't even be cheaper than coop if this really goes through.
It's even worse! Migros is replacing many of its own brands with the MIGROS brand. This obviously includes M-BUDGET.

You can read the article and also the comments a few hours ago and already 200 comments many Migros children are fed up with Lidl and Aldi when it comes to saving money.

If 80 previous own brands become MIGROS, then this is not just "M-Classic, Oh! and partly M-Budget", but an enormous amount. And above all, hardly "partially", but certainly completely M-Budget! Because Migros customers are supposedly so ashamed when guests see M-Budget.
But the Migros brand certainly won't make things any better. It's not M-Budget that is frowned upon, but Migros itself. When I used to say to my work colleagues that I still had to go to Migros, I would often hear questions like: What are you doing in Migros? What, you shop at Migros? Who still shops at Migros these days? And that was all years ago; long before Migros started doing everything wrong.

Degrading M-Budget as "unpopular" and a quasi shame factor is not very clever. M-Budget was an absolute cult and could have become huge if people had given it a little thought.
But no, here comes another new manager who wants to make everything better and easier 🤦♀️
In the end, it will be like the simplification of Tangan 😂 the shot completely backfired.

The problem is when it is replaced by branded products, in short Migros becomes more expensive.
And why shouldn't you go directly to Lidl and Aldi when it comes to saving money, it's probably more worthwhile Migros says this but does it differently so they are not the cheapest unfortunately not as a Migros child I only sometimes go to Migros, mostly to the coop or Aldi Lidl which are now cheaper than Migros.
