I think Migipedia is a great thing in itself! Hardly any retailer in the world has a platform like this. Most of them communicate with their customers via Facebook.
I recently had a look at the posts on migipedia. I also looked at the reactions from the migros team or the category managers of the respective areas.
For example, the demand for Alpro Soya (the thread has almost the most responses) was very high. But Migros blocked it and blamed it on Alpro Soya, which is not yet available on the Swiss market.
Shortly afterwards, Alpro Soya milk was seen in the Zurich area of C. o.op.
After that, the demand for Leger vanilla yoghurt was very high, but there are hardly any opportunities for customers here.
Then there was a discussion about the (milk) sugar in cottage cheese. Here the opinion of Migipedia was also not fair.
Another topic was the inclusion of almond milk in the milk range.
For some time, the company was said to be working on this. Recently, however, the topic became active again. Almond milk is not an issue at the moment.
Skyr is also an issue....
Vegan cheese was also an issue, but Christallo cheese has been included in some regions. A cheese that no one needs, but there is always talk of "limited space".
The issue par excellence and, in my opinion, the biggest no-GO was the discontinuation of Leger light protein bread.
Lack of demand was the reason given at the time. Of course, the product is only stocked by 3 MMM stores... but the light one is worlds better!!!
However, every month a product is sent to a survey, which nobody needs.... Döner Kepab Büx is launched... but I'm sure the product is a flop at the moment.
So I ask myself the question: What use is Migipedia to me?
There are also positive things: The introduction of the PET bottle of Migros Ice Tea. The launch of TK EDAMEME etc...
