The conditions shown on the farm in question shock us and make us very concerned. That is why this producer was immediately banned from Micarna SA.
The issue of animal welfare is very important to Migros. That is why it goes beyond the legal requirements for a large proportion of its animal products and specifically promotes added value in the area of animal welfare with its labels and brands. These include TerraSuisse, Migros-Bio and (organic) Weide-Beef, for example. Over 60 percent of fresh pork is certified with a label (TerraSuisse, organic).
With all these programs, we are dependent on the inspections of the responsible authorities (including the cantonal veterinary offices). If these inspection bodies approve the producers, they are generally taken into account. This was also the case with the farm in question.

All just empty words, because: The same activist had already secretly filmed videos in three of the company's stables last September.
