Our family eats sushi regularly. We do our shopping at Migros, but unfortunately we always have to go to the Coop for raw salmon. There is a nice pre-packaged product there (I don't want to name any brands here). We would be happy if Migros would soon list corresponding products here too.

You have to ask the staff. Some offer good quality. Other smaller outlets and possibly ignorant staff give me a big look when I ask. Homemade is simply the best. (They then refer me to the ready-made sushi...)

I think 3 years is a bit long for the development 😄 You could simply adopt the Froya range (the brand not mentioned in the opening post), which is already available at Coop and sometimes Lidl. Their salmon is ALWAYS top quality and I would recommend it to anyone who makes their own sushi.

Hello everyone, thank you for your questions. The fact is that we looked into introducing Froya about 3 years ago. But then we decided against it for various reasons. The project then stood still for some time - until last year. Then, as part of a product range analysis, we took up the topic of salmon and tuna in sushi quality again and commissioned Micarna to procure such a product for us. However, this has not yet been completed, as it is really not easy to procure the optimum quality for raw consumption that meets our quality assurance requirements. Kind regards, Chloe
Some people have to go to the Coop for milk - which is actually not so bad... BUT I would also go to the Coop for salmon... If it's good - great - ONLY not the pre-packaged stuff please...
