I often buy a durable product several times during a promotion. And then I receive a 2x coupon for this exact product, redeemable within a very short period of time. This happens to me and my friends so often that we soon prefer to do without this little piece of paper.

I often feel the same way, unfortunately. An example: I bought a large pack (2.5 kg) of Ofenfrites. The following week I get a coupon for Ofenfrites.... as I'm single and Migros must already know this from my customer details, I almost feel insulted ;-). I need a while for this big pack...
Yes, there's a system to it. I had already complained about this shortly after the introduction of these advantage coupons. You feel really screwed when the till spits out a receipt for an item immediately after you have paid for it. Artificial intelligence is sticking its tongue out at people more and more often, but we want to be spoiled, so don't complain ;-)
