Wholemeal bread

Vollkornbrot

Hello everyone,

About 22 or 23 years ago, a wholemeal bread was on sale in Migros, it had a round, cylindrical shape, like a pot bread. Approx. 10 cm in diameter, a good 10 cm high, very fluffy and moist, individually freshly packaged. It was my absolute favorite bread back then, a dream with cheese.
The current range of breads is certainly extensive, but anyone who knew the fresh, black bread from back then has to admit that the packaged sliced rye bread or pumpernickel never comes close to the fresh, coal-black bread.
I would be interested to know why this bread has disappeared from the shelves again, or whether a fresh bread variety like this is planned here again.

Greetings from Freschl
