Wholemeal crunchy muesli

Vollkorn Knuspermüsli

I am looking for a simple wholemeal crunchy muesli

It should consist mainly of whole grains and be crunchy, not contain added sugar and no dried fruit, raisins or similar.

Unfortunately, I often see whole grain muesli that still has a lot of sugar and contains raisins and dried fruit.

I would prefer wholemeal oat flakes if only they were crunchy

Best regards

Hi Virsus, I have never seen a muesli like this in Migros, but I can recommend the following organic product from Barnhouse: Krunchy Pur http://www.barnhouse.de/de/produkte/. It's available with different cereals and is really crunchy. It does contain rice syrup, but the sugar content is only about a third of that of other muesli at a good ten grams and rice syrup is supposed to be better than industrial sugar. And you can always "stretch" it with pure unsweetened oat flakes, puffed amaranth, popcorn, oat nuts, linseed, pumpkin seeds, nuts, etc. "stretch". Lg

Hello Virsus

Thank you for your message. I have spoken to the person responsible for the product. It is indeed the case that most muesli contains additives such as raisins or nuts. In our experience, this suits the taste of most customers.

We have taken your concern on board and will look into it.

Do you happen to live in the Zurich region? Alnatura offers natural muesli without additives, e.g. the spelt crunchy or oat crunchy muesli. Maybe you have the opportunity to try these muesli?

Kind regards

Yes, I can only recommend the spelt crunchy müesli. I was also looking for a crunchy müesli without raisins, dried fruit, sugar etc. I found what I was looking for in this müesli. I found what I was looking for in this müesli, it tastes great!

Alnatura Crunchy Mueslis - seem almost identical to Barnhouse, I will recommend to my mother, thanks for the tip! However, it is not without sugar, Alnatura Oat Crunchy contains whole cane sugar (sugar content 22.8g/100g), Spelt Crunchy also contains whole cane sugar (sugar content 23.6g/100g), only Spelt Oat Crunchy contains rice syrup (sugar content 12.8g/100g). Spelt Oat Crunchy therefore offers advantages for a sugar-reduced diet as well as for diabetics and fructose intolerant people. Rice syrup contains "only" 80g of usable carbohydrates per 100g, 77g of which is sugar, which in turn contains 17g of glucose, 39g of maltose and 21g of oligosaccharides(http://www.dasdiabetesblog.de/reissirup-als-alternatives-suessungsmittel/).
