Hello @tnaegelin, thank you for your message. The switch from glass to PET was made by the supplier. In sustainability studies, glass does not always perform better than recycled PET bottles, as the aspects of cleaning, return transportation, etc. must also be included in a comprehensive eco-efficiency analysis. As you rightly write, PET is much lighter than glass. This has advantages for our customers, but also for us during transportation. Migros also pursues a sustainability strategy and actively supports the Swiss PET recycling cycle. Best regards, Richi

Hello Richi, thank you very much for your explanations. I can understand them so far, but the look and feel also play a role. Up to now, I've usually drunk Vivi-Cola straight from the (glass) bottle. Now I just pour it into a drinking glass first and so it fits again.
