When I go shopping on my own, I like to bring my wife a hot chicken thigh from the supermarket because she loves them. Usually from COOP, but today I went to Migros again.

I noticed that, unlike the one at COOP, the individual chicken thigh is packed in a large plastic tray. A lot of waste for nothing. The competition from Basel makes do with a coated paper bag, in which the chicken thigh stays warm for much longer.

Today I turned a blind eye, but in future I will certainly buy the thigh with less packaging again.
