Hidden price increase for convenience food
Versteckte Teuerung bei Convenience-Sofortverpflegung
For (supposedly) environmental reasons, Migros no longer includes cutlery with most convenience products that are eaten immediately/on the go, and the dispensers with the (compostable, nota bene) free cutlery have also disappeared. Instead, if you don't have cutlery with you, you have to buy it. I think this is good for the environment, okay, okay, but then why weren't the products discounted? After all, Migros saves on adding cutlery (e.g. for salads). In my view, this is not only another questionable compulsory educational measure, but also a hidden price increase! And that makes the whole environmental protection thing increasingly unappealing, because it looks like Migros and other companies want to make a profit at the customer's expense under this guise.
