This afternoon (29.09.2016) I really shuddered and was even more surprised by the staff's reaction. While looking for a dessert, I grabbed a box of tiramisu slices from the chiller cabinet at Westside. Luckily I looked closely, because on one slice there was a light spot about 3 mm in diameter in the middle of the cocoa powder - it turned out to be mold. I took the next box and there it was even worse, the surface of both slices was full of these dot-like mold growths. I took these two boxes with the sell by date 01.10. and use by date 02.10.2016 to an employee who was sorting the bread shelves. When I asked her to take a closer look, she put the boxes to one side, said thank you and continued to push bread together. I remarked that there were more tiramisu slices from this batch in the chiller cabinet, but I had lost my appetite, so she just said she would pass the word on - and continued to push the bread together. I went back to the patisserie display and happened to see the head of the in-house bakery, whom I informed about the problem. He simply said: "It wasn't made here, it came from the factory. In response to my concerns that there might be something wrong with the batch if it started to go moldy three days before the expiration date, he simply said that this was really not good and repeated that these slices were not produced in the in-house bakery. Then he continued chatting to a couple of customers he obviously knew. Nobody even made an effort to address the problem and check the Tiramisu slices still on the shelf. Is this supposed to be the customer's job? Is that Migros' quality standard? I say thank you and that's it for me with Westside after the repeated inconsistencies there. This is supposed to be a flagship store? You should be ashamed of yourselves!
